Technology, expertise and honesty — under one roof, run by a family.

There are three specific pieces of treatment technology at Proactive — 3D postural scanning, automated spinal decompression, and the BetterPelvi pelvic floor chair. No other clinic in Southampton brings these together in one place.

Combined with fully qualified hands-on osteopathic care, this is why patients come to us.

Chosen for a reason

Technology you won't find anywhere else locally

Every major piece of technology in the clinic was chosen to solve a specific problem that traditional treatment struggles with.

064A3631

3D postural scanner

Replaces guesswork with a precise picture of what your body is actually doing. In 30 minutes it shows us the imbalances and compensations causing your pain, so treatment is targeted rather than exploratory.

About the scan

064A4713

Spinal decompression system

A non-surgical option for sciatica, disc bulges and long-standing back pain that hands-on treatment alone often can't resolve.

BetterPelvi pelvic floor chair

Rebuilds pelvic floor strength in fully-clothed 28-minute sessions, and it's available to men and women alike.

Who you're trusting

A family business that treats you like one of its own

Proactive is run by the Munro family and a small, close team. Hundreds of people have trusted us with their care, and most new patients still come to us because someone they know recommended us.

That word-of-mouth reputation is built on doing what we say we'll do, being honest about what treatment will and won't achieve, and taking the time patients need.

Qualified hands first

Hands-on expertise, backed by technology

All our osteopaths are registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) — the national regulator for osteopathy, and a legal requirement to practise in the UK. Osteopathic training takes a minimum of five years at university. Our other practitioners hold the qualifications and registrations relevant to their specialisms.

The technology at the clinic doesn't replace that expertise — it amplifies it. Better diagnosis and additional treatment options mean better outcomes for you, especially if you're one of the many patients whose pain hasn't responded to hands-on treatment alone elsewhere.
